The ultimate road trip through Central Europe, an unforgettable journey past some of the most iconic cities in the west of this continent. With the freedom of a car, you’ll traverse Central Europe’s historic landscape, exploring fascinating destinations such as Prague, Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest, Ljubljana and the enchanting Lake Garda.

We started our journey in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, where you will be immersed in an enchanting mix of medieval architecture, Gothic churches and charming squares. Don’t forget to drink a beer on the main square and eat an ice cream at the bridge!
Netherlands – Prague: 882 KM

After this we drive to Vienna, the capital of Austria, where we are welcomed by the opulent palaces and classical music.
Prague – Vienna: 314 KM

After Vienna we continue to Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, where we enjoy an atmospheric mix of historic sights and vibrant café culture along the banks of the Danube.
Vienna – Bratislava: 79 KM

Then we travel to Budapest, the pearl of Hungary, where we will be dazzled by the beautiful thermal baths, impressive castles and lively markets. My recommendation is definitely Széchenyi Baths!
Bratislava – Budapest: 202 KM

With a stopover at Lake Balaton we continue our journey towards Zagreb. In Zagreb we wander through the old town of Gornji Grad, enjoy the local delicacies at the Dolac Market and soak up the vibrant atmosphere of the city at the lively Ban Jelačić Square.
Budapest – Zagreb: 346 KM

The next stop on this road trip is Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Here you will be welcomed by a charming old town, atmospheric squares and green parks along the Ljubljanica River. This city was really so much more than I expected, definitely recommended!
Zagreb – Lubljana: 137 KM

After a one-day stopover in Verona (read: fantastic pasta food), we end our road trip at Lake Garda, Italy’s largest lake, where we are treated to breathtaking landscapes, picturesque villages and delicious Italian dishes.
